Meet Recap

Riviera Lanes and the Copley Indians hosted the 1st. Annual Tomahawk Invitational Tournament in west Akron. The Ravens bowled 15 baker games accross 6 lanes and a best 3 out 5 bracket finals. The oil pattern was the same pattern that will be used for the OHSAA state bowling tournaments. The ladies took advantage and beat out the Stow Bulldogs in the finals to take home the trophy. Stow ,a team known to be at the top, gave it their best but the Ravens threw enough strikes and all important spares to grab the win. This is the Ravens first varsity trophy in a few years and will be enjoyed at practice before it goes into the trophy case. All 6 six girls made shots when needed contributing to the win. Kayla Kline handled 2 high pressured shots to seal the victory. Way to go girls. Coach Hartong said he and Coach Kline are very proud of the girls and can’t wait to get to sectionals.
The next tournament coming up is the PTC tournament at Spin Lanes in Akron on Saturday, Feb. 11, .
