Game Recap

The Ravenna Ravens dropped a close contest to the Poland Seminary Bulldogs on Friday night by a score of 5-3. After Poland jumped out to a 3-0 lead, Ravenna responded with three runs of their own in the bottom of the third. Brady Starkey reached on an error and Johnny Morgan walked. After Jared Strausser singled, Nate Holt forced home the first run after being hit by the pitch. Andy Prentice then singled home two runs. This was all the runs Ravenna would score and Poland added two runs in the top of the fifth to complete the scoring. Prentice led Ravenna with two singles and two RBI.
Poland improve to 16-9 and Ravenna Falls to 12-8.
