Multiple Teams · Girls Track finishes 4th at Aurora Greenman Invitational, Azsah Bradley named meet MVP


Tonight the Ravens competed in the Aurora Greenman Invitational. The ladies finished 4th overall with 58 points. The final standings were:

Sophomore standout, Azsah Bradley continued to shine in all of her races. She finished 1st in the 100 meter dash with a meet record of 12.46. She was also 1st in the 200 meter dash with a meet record of 25.72. Bradley ended up winning the Aurora Greenman Invitational MVP, which is awarded to the top athlete of the meet.

Senior, Alyssa Suto was also a top finisher for the Ravens. She finished in 1st place in the 800 meter run with a season best time of 2:25.

Freshman, Emilee Suto finished 3rd in the long jump with a season best jump of 14’10.50. In addition to the long jump, Emilee Suto was  5th in the 300 hurdles running her best time of 53.25

Freshman, Anna Weaver finished 3rd in the shot with a throw of 30’0″.25. She also was 5th in the disc with a season best throw of 95’5′.

Freshman, Kristen Finch finished with in the 400 meter dash with a personal best time of 1:04.93 to finish 4th overall.

The 4×400 relay of Compeli, A. Suto, Finch, and Bradley finished 3rd with a season best of 4:23. The 4×200 of Chalkwater, Finch, Giargiana, and E.Suto finished 5th with a season best time of 1:59.66.

Kaylee Compeli and Valerie Davis both ran huge personal bests in the 1600 meter run. Kaylee Compeli dropped 5 seconds from her previous best to run a time of 5:54. Valerie Davis dropped 10 seconds off her time to run a time of 6:07. Compeli also ran a season best in the 800 with a time of 2:38.

 

The next meet for the Ravens is Tuesday April 18th at Cloverleaf vs. Cloverleaf and Streetsboro.
