Multiple Teams · Girls Track Finishes 3rd at PTC Championships

The Ravenna Girls Track team finished 3rd overall with 78 points at the PTC Championships, Friday evening. The final standings were:

Leading the way for the Ravens was Sophomore, Azsah Bradley who won the 100, 200, and 400. She ran personal best times in all three of the events with a 12.2 in the 100, 25.4 in the 200, and 59.33 in the 400

Senior, Alyssa Suto ran a personal best of 2:24.16 in the 800 which was second overall.

Junior, Kaylee Compeli ran in the 1600 and the 800 finishing sixth and seventh. She ran a 5:55 in the 1600 and a personal best time in the 800 with a time of 2:35 .

Freshman, Anna Weaver and Junior Madison Wager finished 4th and 5th respectively in the shot. Anna Weaver threw 31’7.5″ and Madison Wagner threw 31’0″ . Anna Weaver threw the discus on Wednesday and was sixth overall in the event.

Freshman, Kristen Finch was sixth in the 200 with a time of 28.22.

Freshman, Emilee Suto was fifth in the 300 hurdles 52.87.

Freshman, Armoni Prewitt competed in the high jump on Wednesday and finished sixth with a jump of 4’8″.

Junior, Valerie Davis was 8th in the 3200 with a huge personal best of 13:34 in the event.

The 4×800 was contested on Wednesday and the team of Compeli, Finch, Davis, and A. Suto finished 3rd overall with a time of 10:25.

The 4×400 of Compeli, E. Suto, FInch, and Bradley was 5th overall with a time of 4:21.92.

The 4×100 of Giargiana, DePalma, Starks and Chalkwater was 8th overall with a time of 1:01.77.

The 4×200 of Chalkwater, Ackerman, Starks, and Giargiana was 8th overall with a time of 2:10.9.

Districts for the Ravens are on Thursday, May 18th at Lakeview (Cortland).
